Olympic Hotel Amsterdam

Credit card guarantee

The Olympic Hotel Amsterdam requires credit card details in order to be able to guarantee your reservation. The credit card that you use must belong to you personally or you must be legally authorized to use it by the owner. Your credit card information is sent directly to Olympic Hotel Amsterdam. If you make a reservation, you are automatically entering into an agreement with Olympic Hotel Amsterdam. We will not deduct a payment from your credit card, because you can pay for your stay when you check in at the hotel. An authorization will be made on the credit card, as stated in the house rules. Non-refundable reservations will be charged immediately.

Damage Deposit

A damage deposit of €250 is required on arrival. We will authorise this amount on your credit card. After your check out the reserved amount will be released, subject to an inspection of the property.

Cancellation and no-show policy

Free cancellation is possible if it is done in written inside the free cancellation window of the hotel. Please note: this cancellation policy does not apply to rooms booked with a Non-Refundable Rate. We kindly advise you to read through the hotel’s cancellation policy below carefully. 


Cancellation policy (flexible rate): it is possible to cancel free of charge up to 6 PM on the day of arrival. In case of late cancellation, you will be charged for the first night of your stay. In case of  No Show, the first night will be charged. The hotel will retain your room reservation up to 12 PM on the day after your planned arrival, after which the reservation will be released.

Travel Schiphol airport to the hotel

We advise you to take bus line 397 from Schiphol in the direction of Leidseplein. Exit at the stop ‘Amstelveenseweg’ and walk for 7 minutes in the direction of the Olympic Stadium. If you wish to take a taxi directly to the hotel, follow the signs or ask a Schiphol employee to direct you to the official taxi stand for your own convenience and safety.

Parking at Olympic

We have a parking garage available on the first floor of the hotel. You can enter it on the right side of the hotel. We, unfortunately, do not take reservations for parking, it is subject to availability. If you would like to leave the garage, you can request a parking code at the reception and pay for the cost.

making a reserveration

to reserve a room, you can check if there is availability via the availability tool, if you agree with the price, select the room, the rate type and select book now. You are now in the summary and if everything is to your liking, click on continue, fill in your details and credit card details, check the conditions and click on continue. You will automatically receive a confirmation. A few days before arrival you will receive an email from us to do an online check-in, here you can complete your payment.

We would like to point out that we do not accept packages for guests.

If you want to send a package, we recommend that you find a pick-up point in your area and send your package there.

Lost & Found

Have you lost your belongings at our hotel during your stay? Contact us as soon as possible. The Olympic Hotel will keep all lost & found items for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks the items are thrown away. For sending your lost & found item, we work with Deliverback.
